One of the exhibition hubs in north-eastern Italy, at the centre of the triangle of beauty and gold between Belluno, Treviso and the Dolomites

Our destination has the fascination of a crossing. Let us breathe in the air of a place that represents a necessary bridge between plains and heights.

Long and narrow, as the Latin derivation of its ancient name Longus seems to imply – from which it originated in the early 19th century – Longarone has an identity prolonged in space and time.

It possesses an intrinsic urge towards the union of territories; it is at most an hour away from all the landscapes of the Veneto region between gentle waters and fierce mountains. This basin in the Piave Valley is a track to follow.

PROSECCO HILLS

PROSECCO HILLS

Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, about an hour's drive from Longarone, are renowned for their vineyards and the famous Prosecco DOCG and DOC, which represent an enogastronomic excellence of the Veneto region.
These easily reachable territories offer enchanting hilly landscapes and a rich cultural heritage.

CADORE AND THE THREE PEAKS OF LAVAREDO

CADORE AND THE THREE PEAKS OF LAVAREDO

In twenty minutes by car, towards Cadore, you reach Pieve di Cadore, a "city of art" for the richness of its historical, artistic and environmental heritage, and also a "walled city of Veneto" as well as the birthplace of Tiziano Vecellio. Continuing northwards, you can admire one of the most iconic symbols of the Dolomites: the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. These imposing peaks, known worldwide for their spectacular beauty and majesty, offer breathtaking views and are an ideal destination for hikers and climbers, representing an unmissable stop for nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts.

CORTINA D'AMPEZZO

CORTINA D'AMPEZZO

Cortina d'Ampezzo, the queen of the Dolomites, is less than 50 km away, connected by State Road no. 51 of Alemagna; the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, a paradise for rock climbers, are at the same distance. The Zoldo Valley, with the famous Civetta ski area and the incomparable beauty of Mount Pelmo, opens right onto Longarone.

BELLUNO

BELLUNO

In about half an hour by train or car, descending towards the plain, you reach Belluno, the capital of the Province with a charming centre built on a rocky terrace above the confluence of the Ardo torrent with the Piave river.

TREVISO

TREVISO

Less than an hour's drive away, Treviso offers a mix of history and culture. Known as "little Venice," it is criss-crossed by picturesque canals and boasts a historic centre with medieval buildings and lively squares. Among the main attractions are the Fontana delle Tette and the Palazzo dei Trecento. There is no shortage of restaurants where you can taste local specialties such as red radicchio and tiramisu, all in a welcoming atmosphere.

VENICE

VENICE

From Longarone you can also quickly reach Venice: an hour's motorway journey takes you directly to the car parks Tronchetto or Piazzale Roma, from where the city's sightseeing itineraries depart. Also along this stretch of motorway are the towns of Vittorio Veneto, Conegliano and Treviso, important industrial and commercial centres and at the same time internationally renowned tourist destinations.

FELTRE

FELTRE
